Bernard Custom Construction is a family organization, formed in 1976 and incorporated in 1979. We operate out of an office located in our home. With a low number of direct employees, we have the flexibility to function on a very minimal and efficient operational overhead, as well as ramp-up for additional homes.
Rick Bernard, the president and Certified Master Builder, has an educational background in Architecture and Psychology, with extensive business experience.
Our orientation is to do a limited number of homes each year, which allows us to be directly responsive to your wishes, while maintaining cost control of each phase of building, by personally being on the job site. We stress energy efficiency, along with intelligent and thoughtful use of materials. This results in a home of unsurpassed craftsmanship, at an economical price.
