What Type of Siding is Best ?
My feeling is the artistic expression and durability of cedar is excellent for our climate, albeit expensive.
I’m suspicious of composite materials, because of their past failure problems. Concrete is tough, and limits artistic expression. Concrete has some issues with expansion and contraction over our temperature ranges.
